On completion of high school Olly studied business and engineering for four semesters at the University of Constance and Ulm.
  After much reflection he decided to follow his true passion construction.
  In 1997 he started a two year apprenticeship as carpenter in Lindau/Lake Constance-Germany. After two years of studies, he successfully passed his examination which certified him to work as a carpenter in Germany.
  During his studies he had the opportunity to travel to Canada and  visit construction sites. Through this experience he was able to gather his first impressions of Canadian home building and  Canadian life style. 
  In 2000 he emigrated to Canada and founded Schulz-Carpentry
in West Lahave, NS.
